Breweries, Wineries & Distilleries
Sip the Spirit of Arkansas
Arkansas’ brewing and distilling roots run deep. In the Arkansas River Valley, pioneers like Wiederkehr Wine Cellars and Post Winery began producing wine in the late 19th century, taking advantage of fertile soil and mountain air. Today that tradition continues with family-owned vineyards and modern tasting rooms offering everything from muscadine and chardonnay to zinfandel and cabernet sauvignon. Beer lovers can explore a growing craft scene that’s as diverse as the landscape itself, from Lost Forty Brewing in Little Rock and Flyway Brewing in North Little Rock to Fossil Cove in Fayetteville.
For something stronger, Arkansas distilleries are putting a fresh spin on tradition. Rock Town Distillery in Little Rock has earned national acclaim for its bourbons and gins, while Delta Dirt Distillery in Helena makes award-winning vodka and gin from sweet potatoes grown on the family farm. In Hot Springs, Crystal Ridge Distillery is joined by Origami Sake, where handcrafted sake brings a refined, unexpected twist to the state’s spirits scene. Fox Trail Distillery in Rogers rounds out the lineup with locally inspired spirits and creative cocktails.
From mountain stills to Delta fields, each destination shares a passion for craftsmanship and flavor. Raise a glass, grab a growler or take home a bottle and discover the craft and character of Arkansas in every sip.
