Dyed and Berried at Davidsonville: A Natural Dye Workshop

Before the invention of the synthetic dyes we use now, people used the plants, minerals, and sometimes the animals around them to color their clothes. Join a park interpreter to learn more about how the people of Davidsonville used local plants to dye yarn and fabric, and how you can do the same thing today! Workshop participants will take home a hand-dyed skein of yarn. Please wear clothes that can be stained.
