Fur Trapping and Trading

In the heyday of Davidsonville and even before, trapping animals for their skins and furs was a way that many people made a living. Join a park interpreter to learn more about the different animals that were trapped, why the furs were so valuable and how people got the things they needed on the frontier. This is a come-and-go event, so feel free to drop in and out whenever you like.
