M.A.D.E. (Gyotaku – Fish Prints)
The landscapes and wildlife of Lake Dardanelle State Park offer endless opportunities for inspiration. Join Lake Dardanelle State Park staff for M.A.D.E. (Making Art, Driving Exploration), a program series designed to help you connect with the outdoors through creativity. In each session, you’ll explore nature’s colors, textures, and patterns while creating your own unique work of art. This workshop will be from 9–11 a.m. in the Russellville open-air pavilion. We will learn about the traditional Japanese art of fish printing and make our own prints to take home. All supplies are provided in fee, and no prior art experience is needed. Please register at least two weeks in advance by calling (479) 967-5516.
