Ties to our Past Lesson on Natural Cordage

To celebrate Arkansas Archeology Month, we are going to work on developing or refining the long lost craft of creating cordage from native plant fibers. While engaged during this activity we will learn how this craft was an imperative life skill in everyday life before modern conveniences.
