Wellness Wednesday Hike at Delta Heritage Trail

Arkansas City is located at the southern terminus of Delta Heritage Trail and is an ideal place to begin an outdoor fitness journey with family and friends. Meet at the Arkansas City trailhead Office for a 1.5-mile hike on a paved surface with a park interpreter lasting 45 minutes. The adventure will take you atop the Mississippi River levee past the historical Arkansas City commercial district and wetlands teeming with birds. Dress to be outdoors, bring a water bottle, wear comfortable hiking footwear and be ready to start your outdoor fitness adventure.
