Woodpecker Walk

Lake Poinsett State Park is home to many bird species. Some of the most unique among them are woodpeckers! Join a park interpreter on this 1.1-mile walk down the Great Blue Heron Trail to learn about and look/listen for these amazing birds! Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather and close-toed shoes for the walk as there is some elevation change. Binoculars available in limited quantities, but feel free to bring your own.
