Beginning near the low water bridge by the campground the trail winds through a hardwood forest and crosses multiple creeks as it loops around Lake Bennett. The trail passes by the lake’s earthen dam and spillways then climbs to the highest point in the park offering scenic views of the lake. The trail will exit the woods near the Visitor Center as you hike the road back to the trailhead. Please follow the blue trail blazes.
