Knapp Trail

This fully accessible trail and boardwalk lead visitors through the prehistoric Native American ceremonial landscape at Plum Bayou Mounds. Along the route, visitors can view three of the eighteen earthen mounds that once stood at the site. Interpretive signage along the Knapp Trail provides context about the mound-building culture that inhabited this area more than 1,000 years ago.
